Scott was awarded the “Silver Fox” Achievement Award by Greyhound Racing Victoria for 2005 for his contribution to greyhound racing including training the most winners by a trainer under 25 years of age – 65 winners for the year. This effort was achieved from training Shiraz Racing bred greyhounds only.
All race dogs are subjected to regular expert veterinary checks by Dr Barry Hayward & Dr. Des Fagen.
Currently training greyhounds for external clients including Martin Hallinan, Darren McDonald, Paul Westerveld, Tyrone Whittington, Steve Williams (Velocity Lodge).
Training facilities include spacious individual kennels, all weather straight runs, roofed empty yards, bull ring and a 3.5 acre paddock for variation work.
A feature of Scott’s training approach is to treat each greyhound as an individual and place them to advantage, where they can win.
